轻安村学生关怀中心

Kampung Senang Student Care Centre started its operation in 2000. It is co-located adjacent to the Elderly Care Centre and organic community garden in Tampines. The Student Care Centre allows our youths to mingle with the elderly and acquire values.

Our Services

• Provides after-school day care service for students
• Supervision and coaching of students’ school work and playtime
• Life skills training – cultural sensitivity, respect for elderly, parents, staff
• Teaching self-help responsibility; cleaning tables and utensils after meals
• School Holiday Enrichment/Education Programs

Our Speciality

• Help children cope with the stress and pressure arising from studies and examinations
• Serves healthy vegetarian food for lunch and tea breaks
• Weekly intergeneration activity
• Holistic care and moral education

轻安村学生关怀中心座落在自然农耕菜园和日间托老中心的旁边。中心平时注重学生品德和学业的培养，提供营养的绿色蔬食，让孩子们在充满关爱的环境中健康成长和学习，在轻安村这个温暖的大家庭中学会与人和睦相处，增强学生们的团队精神。

在学生关怀中心里，我们不仅重视英文的学习，也注重母语的练习，以确保孩子们在未来世界国际的发展中具有双语并强的优势；每个星期完成课业的督导后，到隔邻的长者中心与年长者们互动，以培养孩子们“老吾老以及人之老”的恭敬心和责任感。

新加坡总统2018年也曾亲临到轻安村学生关怀中心，与孩子们一起进行手工制作，并且在自然农耕菜园和学生们亲手种下了具有纪念意义的绿树。
