Job Description

Management
  • Providing leadership and direction including assuming responsibility for the quality of care, safety of staff and service users
  • Managing manpower requirements and issues of MASTC i.e. discipline, training, engagement
  • Volunteer management of MASTC i.e. recruitment and training of new volunteers, engagement and retention of existing volunteers
  • Administrative supervision of the staff including the volunteers which includes determining and making available training programs or schemes to upgrade skills and productivity
  • Ensure the proper management of the Mobility Aids and Wheels of Hope projects including meeting the guidelines and targets
  • Monitor, manage, and timely submission of budgetary reports to the Management
Operations
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly reports to HQ and other relevant government agencies related to funding
  • Ensure the quality of care and service provided to users including the accurate tracking of all loan and repair equipment and aid items
  • Promote and ensure effective communication with volunteers and service users and
  • Participate in the promotion of the Foundation’s activities and services whenever required.
Capability Development
  • Plan Outreach and Fundraising strategy targeting both private and corporate sponsors for carrying out specific projects related to MASTC
  • Plan and develop activities, programs, and strategies including initiating and running public education to promote awareness of the activities and facilities provided by MASTC
  • Able to conduct training related to Wheelchair Servicing
  • Conducting certificate courses with Singapore Polytechnic based on Kampung Senang syllabus

Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies to identify, grow and strengthen relationships with donors, members, volunteers, corporations, and community partners.
  • Create awareness of Kampung Senang programmes through community outreach engagement and collaborations with external parties.
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of projects together with staff, other partners, and/or volunteers.

Job Description

Branding and Communications Executive main role is to develop and execute strategies and plans to promote Kampung Senang and its programmes and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Manager of Corporate Communications to identify gaps in branding and marketing and recommend solutions and strategies to improve on organization’s image, digital footprints, outreach, and presence on all media platforms.
  • Develop video content to build up the organisation’s digital assets.
  • Design creative and appealing social media content.
  • Research and suggests new social media platforms that the team has not tapped on.
  • Manage social media accounts and engage online supporters and communities.
  • Create awareness of and develop the brand of Kampung Senang.
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships.
  • Supports all digital and interactive marketing initiatives, including video production, website strategies, social media engagement, SEO, and SEM.
  • Assist to develop and leverage digital and print communication platforms to raise awareness of the Foundation, as well as drive participation in the Foundations activities.
  • Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of communication channels and develop new ones to engage members, volunteers, and donors.
  • Responsible for developing corporate and marketing materials and collaterals such as annual reports, newsletters, corporate presentations, corporate brochures, corporate videos, corporate gifts, marketing mailers or flyers, and EDMs.

Job Description
  • Overseeing all environmental safety aspects of premises;
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of mobility devices and equipment such as wheelchairs (manual and electric) and commodes;
  • Consolidating and documenting all referral or walk-in cases on mobility aids equipment loans, servicing, and donations;
  • Providing customer service to all walk-ins and call-ins;
  • Helping with maintaining the safety aspects of the workshop and the surrounding environment.
  • Identify, segregate and label in-coming, repair-in-process, and out-going equipment;
  • Keep spare parts and tools in place;
  • General housekeeping duties; and
  • Promoting, participating and being involved in the activities, services, and programmes of the Foundation including its affiliates whenever required.

  • Plan, prepare, cook food, and ensure the freshness of food and ingredients;
  • Present food effectively while ensuring uniform serving sizes and quality of the meals;
  • Modify or create a new menu that meets quality standards;
  • Estimate amount and cost of ingredient requirements to ensure efficient operation;
  • Implement and ensure proper checks on the quantity and quality of received items;
  • Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and regulatory requirements; and

Hygiene and Security
  • Ensure a clean workplace through sweeping, mopping, and/or scrubbing floors, cleaning walls and windows, and disposing of daily trash;
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of restroom including adequate supplies;
  • Ensure the cleanliness of other places in the outlet; and
  • At the close of business hours, check and ensure that all doors and windows are locked and/or closed, and where necessary, to inform the Manager of the replacement and/or repair of faulty door locks and windows.
Other Requirements:
  • Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Able to work overtime.
  • Prior experience with vegan recipes will be an advantage.
  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in any field.
