Legacy Giving
A legacy is a gift of money, property or something else of value given to help others now and in the future. Almost everyone can leave a legacy. It’s not just about the depth of your pockets, but the width of your heart.
It’s not just about the depth of your pockets, but the width of your heart.
Traditionally, legacy gifts are from a person to be given after that person passes away. When we give legacy gifts, we show our gratitude for the good fortune that enables us to put aside extra, so that after our needs and those of our family are taken care of, we have something to help those who were less fortunate.
In addition to leaving a legacy gift when we pass away, legacy gifts can be given on behalf of someone else who has passed away. Plus, these generous gifts can be given to celebrate the birth of a child, a person’s marriage or retirement, a financial windfall, the sale of a business or property, and to commemorate an event, such as the 60th anniversary of Singapore’s independence.
Setting a good example
for our younger
generations.
Legacy giving sets a good example for younger generations. Leaving a legacy gift with Kampung Senang enables you to support the Kampung Senang community’s long-time efforts to make a difference in Singapore and beyond. Since our founding in 1999, our motto and our method have been “Care for People, Care for Nature.”
With Singapore’s ageing population, with the worsening climate crisis, with solutions for these and other concerns within our grasp, Kampung Senang’s work and the work of our friends throughout Singapore, has become even more vital. Your legacy gift makes you a part of our work now and long into the future. Let us share your passions and help make your passions into realities.
